This cache is a bit cheeky really and is a copy of one that we found while visiting the Durham area.
We thought the idea for the cache was excellent and, as we are not aware of any in our area that were so sneaky we decided to try to copy it.
Many thanks to Travers( the original Durham setter) for use of the idea as well as some of the information from their original cache page.
Information on the cache itself
The cache is situated on the north side of Stokes Bay Road.
There is plenty of parking close by – it is currently pay and display.
The cache is not hidden behind rocks or under twigs, it is in plain sight, but not at ground level.
The best tactic for finding it just to look for something that’s not quite right.
Another note
The cache container itself must not and cannot be picked up!
The logbook can easily be retrieved and replaced with a little care without disturbing the container.
If you do get a DNF, please log it as it helps to alert us when the cache may need to be checked in addition to the regular maintenance.
As this is a small micro please bring you own writing implement to initial the log.
