This cache is situated within the picturesque area of Portelet Common on Jersey’s South coast.
This cache offers a wonderful tranquil view out over Portelet Bay and Ile au Guerdain / Janvrins Tomb and Tower, combined with a fabulous circular walk around one of Jersey’s best dwarf shrub and lichen rich heathlands. Other interesting points to lookout for include the spotted rock-rose, sand crocus and early sand-grass with the Dartford warbler, cirl bunting and white throat flying over head.
Watch out for hidden drops when looking for the cache and please keep to footpaths / rabbit trails. Beware of mugglers.
The cache is a medium sized Tupperware container with various trades, log book and pen.
