Not long after I moved to Tucson, I was intrigued with this area. So naturally I had to make it the location for my first cache. As a kid, my brother, dad and I would watch Top Gun on a regular basis, quickly making the F-14 my favorite jet. This cache was conveniently placed directly across the street from a large fleet of them, but they have since been moved. It's still a neat location to check out.
Since this is my first cache, I've made it pretty easy. The hint below is a clear giveaway once you're in the vicinity. The cache contains a log only, so please bring a writing instrument.
NOTE: The owner of the property has given permission for the cache (of course!) but has asked that the gate not be blocked. If the gate is open, please come back at another time, but if it is shut, stopping for the couple minutes it takes to grab the cache is just fine.
