North Carolina Central Area Cache Loggers Enterprise (NC-CACKLE) is a loosely formed group of cachers dedicated to the betterment of Geocaching in the Sanford/Lee County and surrounding areas.
This lock-n-lock container is hidden in a wooded area located in gamelands near the Jordan Lake Dam. Parking coordinates have been given. The hike is about 1.6 miles roundtrip from the parking area. To make the hunt quicker, you can ride a bike from the parking area to within about 1/4 mile of the cache. As usual, please rehide the cache as found and use caution during hunting seasons as this is gamelands. Cache has been stocked with typical Geochicken swag. Enjoy the hike and the views!
Update - If you would like a shorter hike, you can park at 35 39.216 N 079 04.159 W and walk across the dam. This alternative hike will be approx. 1 mile roundtrip for all three CACKLE caches in this area.
