Geocache Description:

This one might give some of you FITS when searching for or locating....

I typically stay away from "guardrails" but this location is special to me as this was the first bridge i was in charge of building.
It was quite a challenge as I was handed the Superintendant's position after the firing of my previous boss who had the project overbudget and months offschedule. So much so that the project was in penalty phase..My company lost 1500 dollars a day untill traffic was on the road and all bid items completed .it took me three weeks to get back on schedule ...and let me tell ya without having to spend a dime in my budget this wasn't an easy task!!!
I had slated this location for a doozy of a hide but figured noone else would be crazy enough to kayak out to the middle of the underside of the bridge during flood stages to retreive the five gallon bucket i acquired permission from the county inspectors and project managers to originally place...so you'll just have to settle for locating the "Widow"
now onto the cache!!!
Legend has it in this area that on a stormy winters night a wife was out looking for her husband who was tending his herd of cattle (unbeknownst to her he had been trampled 3 hour prior) when the pudding river overflowed beyond flood stage and swept her away...it is told that her screams can still be heard when passing this locale...and to make matters worse she has been spotted with red on the road night after night!!! NOW i don't recommend a night search because legend also tells of countless vehicle windows being vandalized when left vacated on the side of the road out here so please limit your search to daylight hours for your own safety.

there is room for parking very close to cache location.
