Cette cache est dissimulée sur le site d’une descente
d’embarcations au bord de la rivière Rouge dans la
municipalité de La Conception. Elle peut se faire
été comme hiver à condition qu’il
n’y ait pas trop de neige. Dû à la
proximité de la rivière, ne laissez pas les petits
sans surveillance.
Rendez-vous aux coordonnées mentionnées. Vous
serez alors au centre du stationnement de la halte. Veuillez noter
que le stationnement n’est pas déblayé pendant
l’hiver.
Une fois sur place, vous devez trouver deux pancartes : le
panneau municipal sur le lavage des embarcations et la
signalisation provinciale d’un lieu de canotage (pancarte
bleue). Trouvez les informations suivantes :
1. À quelle distance des rives, les bateaux doivent-ils
respecter une limite de vitesse?
2. Combien y a-t-il de vagues sous le canot?
Pour obtenir les coordonnées finales de la cache,
soustrayez le nombre de vagues aux coordonnées nord et
ajoutez le double de la distance des rives aux coordonnées
ouest.

Pour ceux qui aiment le canot ou le kayak, vous pouvez louer une
embarcation chez Douce Aventure à Labelle et faire cette
cache au 14e kilomètre de votre excursion. Une cache existe
également au 23e kilomètre (GCWHYA).

This cache is dissimulated on the site of a descent of boats on the
Rivière Rouge in the municipality of La Conception. It can
be done in winter as long as there is not too much snow. With the
proximity of the river, do not leave the children without
supervision.
Get to the co-ordinates mentioned. You will then be in the center
of the parking of the halt. Please note that the parking is not
cleared during the winter. Once on the spot, you must find two
signs: the municipal panel on the washing of the boats and the
provincial indication of a place of canoeing (blue sign).
Find the following information:
1. At which distance of banks, the boats must respect a speed
limit?
2. How many waves are there under the canoe?
To obtain the final co-ordinates of the cache, withdraw the number
of waves from the north co-ordinates and add the double of the
distance from banks to the western co-ordinates.

For those who like canoe or kayak, you can rent a boat at Douce
Aventure in Labelle and search for this cache at the 14th kilometre
of your excursion. A cache also exists at the 23th kilometre
