Update:
4/11/07 - according to the mahaskaconservation.com website, they are offering prizes to all levels of cachers, if you are the first to return with all the caches for your levels.
5/29/07 - as the time drawns near we are working on some very easy hides and some very complicated ones. Please bring your DEET. As with any other area in rural Iowa, we do have mosquitoes. We did walk through some of the intermediate and experienced areas on Friday. You can definitely see where the water was at least 5 feet deep and more in some areas. There is only some areas of water left. If you plan to compete in the first to find all caches for your level, you won't be able to start the search till the 1:00pm start time. We will allow geocachers to log all their temporary finds to a designated cache, TBA. See you there, if you dare!
6/4/07 - We were very busy this weekend hiding caches. At this time we have 8 beginner caches, 11 intermidiate caches and 6 experienced caches hidden. There is Something for Everyone at this event.
6/9/07 - We have been so busy getting everything ready for all you cachers. If you haven't posted a note and are still thinking about coming please don't hesitate to join us. The more the merrier. If you have questions, got yourself lost, think you are running late.... pls call the conservation center at 641-673-9327.
