La Chiesa di San Mamete si trova nel comune di Mezzovico-Vira,
composto dai due nuclei abitati di Mezzovio ("Medio Vico" e Vira, a
pochi passi dalla strada principale che porta da Lugano verso il
Monte Ceneri.
La Chiesa è circondata dal muro di cinta del cimitero sul cui
portale è ancora visibile l'affresco raffigurante San Mamete e
Sant'Antonio abate, della fine del 1400.
La chiesa pare abbia origini nella seconda metà dell'anno 1000, è
in stile romanico, ed ha subito numerose modiche sino al XV/XVI
secolo.
Il cache è nascosto nell'ampio prato
che divide la chiesa dalla strada principale, a pochi metri dalla
recinzione della locale scuola. Per questo motivo fate estrema
attenzione e vi consigliamo vivamente di guardare la foto spoiler
("Aiuto di Famiglia") per poter capire dove è nascosto. Vi
preghiamo di rimetterlo al suo posto con molta attenzione in modo
che la sua sporavvivenza sia garantita nel tempo.

The Church of San Mamete is located in the town of Vira-Mezzovico
composed of two inhabited areas of Mezzovico ("Medio Vico") and
Vira, not far from the main road leading from Lugano to Monte
Ceneri.
The Church is surrounded by the wall of the cemetery and close to
the portal is still visible the fresco depicting San Mamete and St.
Anthony Abbot, dated end of 1400.
The church appears to have origins in the second half of 1000, it
is in Romanesque style, and has undergone numerous changes up to
the XV / XVI century.
The cache has been hidden in the huge
lawn that divide the church from the main street, a few meters from
the local school. For this reason please pay extra care and
attention and we strongly suggest you to look at the spoiler
picture ("Family Help") to better understand where it is hidden. We
plea you to place it back very carefully to guarantee its lifetime
presence.
As a sign of respect to all
