From Buckwyns 1 follow the main footpath. The turning to this
cache is onto another official footpath but, at the time of
setting, is not signed.
In winter the route from 1 to 2 will be VERY muddy and wellies
required!
Trees badly affected our GPS signal here. It was a question of
"The GPS says "No"" on arrival at GZ! However, on all trials the
coords got us from the main path to within feet of the cache -
before rudely bleeping and shutting down. On arrival you will spot
a likely site! Failing this there is always the clue!
From this cache you leave the woodland and pass through a field
- used in summer for horse grazing and through a livery yard. It is
an official footpath so no worries re trespass! However, you may
arouse suspicion if you attempt night caching! Children may like to
see the horses and ponies on this stretch of the series. However,
if you want a shorter walk (cut down by around 20-30 mins) you
could miss 3 out. To get to 4 follow a well worn path
northwards/northwest through the wood (this starts just before No 2
hide) until you reach an official bridleway path - then follow the
GPS.
