This cache, while the description is copied and pasted, does need some explanation. Have you ever gone out to find a cache studying every square inch of a guardrail only to find out that it was hidden in a tree 50, 60 or even 70 feet away? My personal best was searching a bench in someone's front yard, only to find out later the cache was actually 1 1/2 mi away. Yeah.
Anyway, the posted coordinates are accurate only so far as they'll get you to the right parking lot and a container with directions on how to find this cache. That is, as they say, where the plot thickens.
It should be mentioned that the container at the posted coordinates provide no more helpful information than this cache page - honestly, you don't even have to go there. TPTB said I had to put something there, so I did. It'll be helpful if someone doesn't have this cache page description with them, but that's about it. There's probably a couple of dozen light poles in this lot - some have skirts, some not. Some have small skirts, others bigger. It's under one of them. GO!
Just one rule - any log that posts actual coordinates, or waypoint projections, etc, will be deleted with extreme prejudice. Let everyone have the same amount of fun you did.
Toodles!
This is the fourth in a series (kinda) of caches, in the barest sense of the word. THIS one's even so bad, I'm not even gonna write a new description - Just gonna copy and paste from the original. Gosh does that stink...
There's really nothing to it. Just a log. Nothing special. Just a plain old micro. Nothing special about it at all. Not a thing. It's barely placeable.
I'm even going to tell you where it is! Imagine that. It's under a lamp skirt. Huh. No decryption necessary. We're cutting out the middle man! That way, you old schoolers can't even justify it by saying you decrypted it by hand.
Now, I'm not going to tell you not to log this cache. I'm not going to "dare" you into ignoring it, or proving your worth by not coming after it. But I am going to place it. It is after all, a smiley. But honestly, there's a whole forest preserve a mere mile away which offers much more suitable caches. They probably carried gunpowder at one time. They probably even have McDonalds toys in them!
Not this one. No gun powder. No toys. Just a log. Not even a log really. Just lines on a piece of paper. That's it. Completely unremarkable.
So come get it! You know you want to...er too...er...fore...
