It's pretty simple: Go into the gallery and find the 6 chess
puzzles. In solving these puzzles in this cache, you are moving for
the white pieces. Your task: Find the ONE chess piece which can
move which will result in an IMMEDIATE checkmate of the black king.
Careful: there may be many ways to create check, but only one piece
can checkmate with their move in each scenario. Again--which piece
MOVES to create the checkmate in one move?
Once you identify the piece that moves in order to create a
checkmate, refer to the key below to determine the coordinates of
the cache:
0=king side castle (note: "castle" here does not mean
"rook")
1=queen side castle
2=knight on a green square
3=knight on a white square
4=rook on a green square
5=rook on a white square
6=bishop on a dark square
7=bishop on a white square
8=pawn
9=queen

Bring your own pen/pencil. Getting good satellite reception is
difficult here, so use the very helpful hint. I should be getting
you within 50 feet; trust me--I worked at getting it as close as I
could!
