Geocache Description:

Along the bank of the Nunckatessett River close to Bridgewater Common, is the Town River Landing.

More commonly known as the Town River, the Nunckatessett drains from Lake Nippenicket in Bridgewater, then meanders it's way through West Bridgewater and then back into Bridgewater, where it joins with the Mattfield to become the headwaters of the Taunton River.

This is the latest project of the Natural Resources Trust of Bridgewater (NRTB). The river is a common thread, connecting each of the six NRTB Parklands.
