This Shinto shrine is creation of white pheasant (651) for two years. Japan Takeshi [touto], the [tenko] roof life, and Ieyasu Tokugawa are enshrined.
The origin of Japan Takeshi [touto] recalling the virtue and influence, and villager's doing [tatematsumatsu] as the swan gracious deity seems to be eastern country repression according to [shatsuta] though it on the way stayed on this ground of swan village at that time.

Thereafter, it came to be called a hometown in Torigoe around here by coming to use the name of Torigoe for the Shinto shrine name.
