The prehistoric rock shelter was occupied by hunter-gatherers of the Paleolithic until the Neolithic (so there are about 10 000 years for the closest period). A part of the objects and tools whose have been excavated are visible in the archaeological museum of Montrozier. The distance between the car park (point1) and the cache is about 1600 meters. The terrain is flat.
