It's been 25 years since a group of kids went on
a wild adventure that included a treasure map, hidden caves, mean
crooks and booby traps galore! Who could ask for a more perfect
combination - Goonies and Geocaching!
What: Celebrate The Goonies 25th Anniversary with
some Goonies trivia and other fun! Before or after the event, you
may want to check out GC14GYJ as it takes you to film locations in
Astoria!
Where: Tapiola Park located on Highway 202 in
Astoria. I've reserved the Picnic Shelter for the event. There is
construction currently at the park, but the Picnic Shelter and play
area are still open. This does mean that parking may be limited,
however.
When: Saturday June 5th - 10am-12pm
What to bring: You, trackables to trade, your
favorite treasure hunting stories!
