paddlehikers: The theatrical society has, as with any special interest group, a host of tried and true recitations that get tossed around in peer surroundings; "The play's the thing".... "The show must go on"... "Break a leg", etc. But one eternal and sentimental thespian may have said it best. Who beside Pepe Le Pew could offer such a heart wrenching retreat as ... "Au revoir, pidgeon. Sweeting is such part sorrow." Anyway, in the words of one of Pepe's gel-mates at Hanna-Barbara (Snagglepuss)... "Exit, Stage Left." Time for someone else to rewrite this screenplay.
