Geocache Description:

This cache is located just off the Biology Trail...finding the cache is only 1/2 the fun, the other 1/2 is figuring out how to get it! Contains a logbook and pen...feel free to drop off other reasonable items.

This is a size 2 cache but contained within a cache holder. The holder is fastened securly in place...DO NOT REMOVE CACHE HOLDER!! You'll understand when you see it. Use your ingenuity to obtain the cache from the cache holder. Please replace the lid to the cache and the cache holder but NOT TOO TIGHT! Also, please do not put ANYTHING other than the geocache inside of the cache holder (leaves, dirt, mud)...we do not want to clog the plumbing now do we? Access: The easiest way to get there is from the north entrance of the Dogwood Trail nearer Summerour. However if you enter the south entrance you can get there just as well with a longer hike. The cache is quite some distance from the trail and you must go 'offroad'...the foliage is not too thick. I do not consider this one kid friendly simply because it leaves the main path, however I don't believe it to be a dangerous area. The terrain is not steep at any point. The difficulty depends upon the season and your patience...I mean, it is leaky plumbing afterall ;) It's going to be tough! Remember after signing the logbook to replace the rubber bands, otherwise it's really difficult for the next person to get the log out of the cache. Thanks!! The following concerns the Hint, so don't read if you don't want it: The hint is located at the cache and very delicate...USE CARE when handling...please. Let me know if anything needs replaced. By the way...this one is almost impossible while the creek is dry.
