Sapphire's London Pride Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Pumpkin67: I feel a little sad archiving this as it was my first cache. However, there's been a clear up at GZ and its hiding place has gone. I had a brief look around for alternative sites but nothing grabbed my mind for the replacement cache I had brought. I may have a revisit during the summer holiday and think again either to re-enable or for a new cache, or maybe someone else will set one here. I found it strange that it only had 15 visits during its eight month life, considering it is on the canal, near a great pub and virtually a cache and dash. Thanks to all who came to find. [:)]

Geocache Description:

To celebrate the end of our Bank Holiday weekend cruise aboard Sapphire, we placed this cache as a thank you to those who had placed caches along the Grand Union Canal between Leighton Buzzard and Berkhamsted.

This is my first cache; it was going to be called Sapphire's Discovery, but the Discovery on the journey south seemed a little over-chilled, so an alternative was required!

The cache is a pale blue plastic pot 2"in diameter and about the same height. It contains a logbook and a few swappables.
Becasue of the small size of container, you will need to bring your own pen.

Parking is available close to the coordinates; however their is no disabled / pushchair access from the nearby parking.

Be aware of nearby water and muggles!

Congratulations to Merlin-K FTF!
