I Love Geocaching Multi-Cache

mikeri: There first stage hasn't weathered as well as I'd hoped. And the final has been a little difficult to keep in place. Therefore I have decided to archive this cache and open the area new caches. The lock will remain on the gate as a reminder of my first multi-cache placement. And maybe someday someone will wonder what those coordinates are on the lock.

Geocache Description:

Alright all you romantic geocachers, this is the cache for you. This three-step multicache is inspired by an ancient custom, which is believed to have originated in China, where lovers lock a padlock on a chain or gate and then throw away the key, symbolically locking their love forever. As this idea catches on in St. George the original marker may become harder and harder to find.

This first stage of this cache is located on the new lover's gate on Main Street in St. George, Utah. The second stage is placed near the St. George LDS temple. Couples, young and old, enjoy strolling around the temple grounds. The third and final stage of the cache is located in a city park.

It appears that the coordinates at the first stage are getting weathered and making it harder to read one of the digits in the north coordinates. The north coordinates are N37 0A.1BC, the first number after the decimal is a 1. The other numbers are still easily read, for now.
