Sadly, as of the 100th podcast on April 12, 2014, Scott and Walt have made their last Chicago Geocacher Podcast. But you can still download past episodes on ITunes. They promise to be back after taking a much needed break. But it will be a different podcast. Stay tuned for details.
The podcasters, Walt and Scott, are hiding in Crystal Lake. Mister Mumbles and Speed Freak are waiting for you to find them. Oh, the Irony!!! #38 is one of their podcasts, and it just happens to be the atomic number for the element strontium.
You won’t find the mighty swear bell, double entendre, or lame jokes. No off-mike or to-fast-to-be understood, conversations either. Even Dougbob (Dougray, whatever Doug you are, Dougie) would approve. Happy Caching. Hot Dogs.
This cache is my small way of giving back to the caching community here in Crystal Lake. Thank you Lindave, zomarkaan, renzotobias, The4Buckleys, geckl69, rocky is a very good doggy, mcgeo,Derf69, and Crystal Bill for helping me learn about geocaching this past year.
A short walk on a narrow path which cuts through the Coventry neighborhood. Cache is easily accessible from the east or west. Plenty of street parking available. Cache is hidden with property owners’ permission. There is no need to walk onto private property. The path can be busy at times and kids on bikes or skateboards have been known to appear unexpectedly. You may find a decoy cache or two hidden here. If you do, please put it back as you found it and continue your search.
Geocoins for first, second, and third to find.
Please note, For those unfamiliar with Walt and Scott, they host a podcast about geocaching in the greater Chicagoland area. When you find the cache you will learn the name of their show. The show contains adult conversation, and is not appropriate for younger listeners.
CONGRATULATIONS TO, Hello_Im_JohnnyCache ON THE FIRST TO FIND!
11-12-12
To hunt this cache you will need to walk up or down (depending if you start from Conventry Ln or Yorkshire Ln) a small sidewalk. The CO can see the cache host from his kitchen window. You may encounter a beagle, sorry about that. I have no control over my neighbor's dogs.
