Geocache Description:

This event is set up to help local school children who may be geocaching for the first time.

As part of the Epsom and Ewell Confederation School Olympics, children are being encouraged to take their families geocaching. Children from several local schools have been given the coordinates of 4 new Olympic geocaches and have been told how to use a free Geocaching app on a smartphone or a GPSr if they have one in order to find them. Any child who finds the caches between the 2nd and 13th July 2012 and remembers to stamp their record sheet with the stamps in each cache will be contributing to a confederation-wide competition.
We need your help to provide assistance to people who are going geocaching for the first time. The idea is to help them to geocache, not to show them where the caches are!  

We have no idea how many people, if any, will turn up needing help, but if you could spare a bit of your time between 11am and 1pm then it would be very gratefully received.

The coordinates are for the nearest car park to the coordinates and we will probably set ourselves up on the grassy area nearby if the weather is good enough for a picnic - look for the purple pineapple flag.

Please post a will attend log if you think you can make it as it'll be good to have some idea of who to expect.
