Welcome to the Seventh
Adopt a Highway Cleanup

It's time once again to clean up the highway! This one is part of the "Make a Difference Day Annual Fall Clean up". This means that Keep Midland Beautiful will feed us lunch and give out volunteer shirts, so if your going to make it please post what size shirt you would like or email me if you don't want to post it.
As always Safety Vests and Trash bags will be provided by TxDOT, we will have some water and gatorade on hand!

This is a highway cleanup so there will be safety rules that we will go over at the beginning of the event so try not to be late, unfortunately no children under the age of 7 are allowed to participate.

Please post if you need a vest and how many so I know how many to bring out. People who have been to cleanups before this one can take theirs home with them or leave them with me, either way. Be sure to bring gloves, grabbers, sunscreen, and a hat.

The event starts at 8:00 AM October 20th, 2012, We should have plenty of parking at the listed coordinates but car pooling is encouraged. Raffle tickets for prizes just for coming out and helping will be handed out. The prizes will be given out at the Afternoon CITO in the Adopt a Lot! We will clean as quickly as we can since it will be a bit warm out there, we will be finished at 11:00 AM or when the trash is all picked up, whichever comes first. Trash will be stacked at the sign on the south side of our section as usual and we will snap a picture and go eat some lunch, Keep Midland Beautiful is going to have food at Hogan Park (GC3TDV0)

Both the City of Midland and the Texas Department of Transportation have recognized the job we do out there and are extremely happy with us, lets keep them as happy as possible with Geocachers and keep this job up!
