Geocache Description:

Seven caches are hidden on the estate, each linked to Brockhampton's rich farming heritage and amazing wildlife. The cache container is a key holder with no room for swaps.

The National Trust have GPS units available to borrow for new Geocachers. Three of the caches on the estate are ideal for beginners while the other caches have been hidden in more difficult terrain out on the estate. For a lovely walk, do all seven. Print out this cache listing to get free entry onto the estate (visitor car park charge still applies as does admission charge for Lower Brockhampton). At Brockhampton there are miles of walks through the park and woodland, featuring ancient trees, the picturesque Lawn Pool, and various sculptures depicting parts of the history of Brockhampton and the local area. Some of the paths are quite steep and can be muddy! Sturdy footwear is always recommended! Brockhampton is home to a rich variety of wildlife, along with historic farming breeds such as Hereford cattle and Ryeland sheep. Bring a picnic and you can stay all day. We have worked with National Trust staff to place these caches.
