Geocache Description:

This is a Historical Cache. This should be a quick grab and go. Bring tweezers or a small screw (with a small screw, gently screw it into the middle of the log book and pull lightly). BYOP!! There is a High chance of Muggles. This area may be muddy after rain.

This is a farm cabin built by the North Ridgeville Historical Society for the city’s Bicentennial. Because the settlers of North Ridgeville were skilled builders, they constructed log cabins instead of wattle and daub shelters (wood strips and sticky stuff) like those before them two centuries earlier (half of the hundred Plymouth colonists died because of inefficient shelter, most being women). We learn over time; We learn from our history. Come visit the North Ridgeville museum to learn more on life 200 years ago.
