Shiny Fiete: Nun ist hier leider schluß. Das Wegkreuz bietet leider kaum Cache versteckmöglichkeiten, deshalb habe ich schon auf Nano Behälter wechseln müssen. Aber selbst dieser wurde sehr oft gemuggelt.

Ein Nano am Wegesrand zwischen Schallern und Horn. Dieses Wegkreuz aus Eichenholz wurde am 21.07.2013 anlässlich des 700-jährigen Dorfjubiläums von Schallern geweiht und danach hier aufgestellt. 2013 feierte auch die Feuerwehr (1913 - 2013) ihr 100 jähriges Jubiläum und der Spielmannszug (1923 - 2013) sein 90 jähriges bestehen. An diesem Ort stand schon mal ein Wegkreuz. Der steinerne Sockel erinnert daran. Warum und wann es abgebaut wurde ist mir nicht bekannt.

A nano by the wayside between Schallern and Horn. This wayside cross made from oak wood was blessed due to the 700th jubilee of Schallern on 21.07.2014 and placed here. Also the fire service (1913 - 2013) celebrated their 100th jubilee and the marching band (1923 - 2013) exists since 90 years. At this place a wayside cross exists in the past. The stone socket remebers to this. I don´t know why and when this old wayside cross was removed.
