Geocache Description:

We placed this cache while visiting family for the holidays.  It was a lot of fun playing in the snow with all 7 of our children.  We hope you enjoy the walk in forest and the fresh air like we always do! Look on the south side of the road.

This road is the beginning to the Peterborough County Forest.  This is mainly a logging road, but is also frequented by ATVers, hikers, cyclists, and hunters alike.  Please be respectful of the environment and carry out any trash that you bring in.  The cache is a medium sized screw-top container.  It contains a log book and pencil along with some small trinkets that the children added.  It is camouflaged and hidden 6-8 feet from the ground.  It is located less than half a kilometer from the gate to the forest/ end of the road, and is close to the path on the south side of the road. Enjoy!
