Geocache Description:

Come and celebrate Geocaching's 15th Birthday at beautiful Confederation Park

When:  Saturday, May 2, 2015

Where:  Confederation Park, Burnaby

Time:  2:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Join us to celebrate 15 years since Bill Clinton flipped the Selective Availability switch and gave every GPS in the world an instant upgrade.

The effect of this was to improve GPS accuracy by up to 10 times.  Can you imagine geocaching where your GPS accuracy is only between 60-100 metres?

That is certainly something for us to celebrate!

Come and share stories, trade trackables and enjoy what we hope will be a lovely sunny day outside.

Groundspeak has a special souvenir for the day that will unlock "your mission for 2015" whatever that means.

Rumour has it that there may be an announcement with some exicting news from the BC Geocaching Association.

See you there!
