This local nature reserve is a wonderful green area of reclaimed urban countryside with lots of opportunities to get out and about in the open air.
With the river Medlock running through it and lots of places to walk, cycle and explore, Clayton Vale is a little piece of the countryside right in the heart of East Manchester. The reclaimed industrial land has become a haven for wildlife with sites of special scientific interest, fishing ponds, birdlife and more.
Facilities include a network of easy-to-follow paths, a number of picnic areas and large grassy areas for walking the dog or for letting the kids run around
John Joseph Lydon (born 31 January 1956), also known by his former stage name Johnny Rotten, is an English singer, songwriter, and musician, best known as the lead singer of punk rock band the Sex Pistols from 1975 until 1978, and again for various revivals during the 1990s and 2000s.
Johnny wants to join a new rock band, but needs your help to find some more band members and a manager. Hopefully you can help him do this by completing the series
