This is an ancient clapper bridge, and we have not been able to find any details about its origins. A little cottage used to exist on the east side of the bridge on the riverbank, known locally as Bowler Hat Cottage, presumably because hats used to be manufactured there. Pictures of the area c1905 confirm the cottage's existence, but we are unsure as to why or when it was demolished.
Gather the following information to obtain the cache co-ordinates:
1. How many pillars are holding up the bridge railing? Call this answer A.
2. How many bolts are securing the pillars to the bridge? Count all that do and should exist and call this answer BC.
3. How many 'traffic' pillars are located at the east end of the bridge? Call this answer D.
4. Find the streetlight at the east end of the bridge, next to the metal donkey. What number is on this streetlight? Call this answer EF.
