Geocache Description:

This cache is situated on the banks of the famous River Bush, County Antrim.

The cache is part of the "little bridge" series and is sited close to the river, when in flood can be fast flowing. The river flows into the nearby sea. The cache is not sited on or under the bridge but close by.

This area in the spring/summer is in a high muggled location, and is a favorite place for locals to walk their cannine friends year round, so stealth must be taken. BYOP and replace where found.

The River Bush (from the Irish: an Bhuais) is an Ulster river in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. The River Bush is 33.5 miles (53.9 km) long. The river's source is in the Antrim Hills at 480m. From there the river flows northwest, with a bend at the town of Armoy. It then flows west, passing through Stranocum, and then bends north, passing through Bushmills before reaching the sea at Portballintrae on the North Antrim coast.

It is world famous for it's salmon fishing and that elixer of life, Bushmills Whiskey which is made in the nearby Bushmills Distillery.

The cache is in a plastic screw top container wrapped in black tape with a 'Smiley' face attached.

The Little Bridges series was started by Stanthews in 2009 to highlight small footbridges in remote parts of Wiltshire. Since then the series has been expanded by others all over the country and starting to spread fast, Damian from Winter Foxes has created and updates a list of cachers who has found 10 or more little bridges and can be found  http://legresley.me.uk/LittleBridges.html , if you would like to add to the series, please contact Stan on stanthews@aol.com and he will give you a number for your bridge, to qualify, the bridge must be a foot bridge too small for vehicles, please make sure your title exactly matches “Little Bridges # xx then name” including spaces so it will get picked up and added to Damian’s list.

There are souvenirs available for those who find and/or plant Little Bridges caches on Damiens site.
