First time I heard wbout the village of Vlahi was long time ago. Today I had the chance to spend some time around... Take the road begining at Kresna town go until the asphalt ends and have the nerves to drive the dirt road up the village - you will be rewarded! The place is magnificent - white mounts of Pirin mountain in the back, few traditional houses that has left from the glorious past, bulgarian shepard dogs everywhere, but no people around.... have a walk around the reconstructed building of the school, the exhibition of big carnivores, the farm for traditional breeds, have a sit near the monument of Yane Sandanski (this is his place of birth), visit the Saint Iliya church in the center and dont forget to stop at the Virgin Marry church few hundred meters - it dates back to 1750, made of watermill stones and partially built under the ground level.
The path to the waterfall goes from the center , over small bridge below the rare breed center. It is an easy one, the walk will take you approximately 10 minutes. But at the very location, be really careful, the container is in a rocky wall accessible from below the path, where the slope is almost vertical. Although the coords are not bad, please use the spoiler images.
