Geocache Description:

Building a new trail opened up a new spot for a cache

COSCA had their semi-annual Trail Day event on Saturday, building a new trail, about a 1/3 of a mile long, with great views.  It cut into unhiked territory, and provided an opportunity to place a new cache, near where I was working.  The cache is a camo'd vitamin bottle, larger than a micro, but not a small, with room for micro-trackables and mini-swag.  No pencil, so bring your own.  It is hidden under a piece of material Big Foot Moose removed to make room for the trail.

If you come from the suggested trail head (about a 1-1/4 mile hike one way), then it's best to walk past the shortest path to the cache to the apex of the trail, and approach from that direction - less damage to the newly created slopes, and an easier slope.

Happy Caching! A cache a day keeps the doctor away

Feedback is always appreciated on the difficulty/terrain ratings, cache descriptions, etc - thanks.
