This is a tribute to my favorite style of crossword puzzle and to Mel Taub who has been authoring them for the NY Times for decades. He has provided many hours of amusement and I hope you will be entertained as well.
You might not need to complete the entire puzzle to find the answer, but it is my hope you will enjoy doing so. When you have completed the puzzle you will need two 'pieces' to check into Certitude. The first 'piece' is comprised of all the letters in the left hand column (ignore the black boxes). This will give you a 13 digit 'piece' as your first part of the keyword. In a similar fashion, create your second 'piece' with the 11 letters in the right hand column.
You must provide a 24 letter keyword for the checker. This is made up of the two pieces as described above. Use the 13 letter piece first and the 11 letter piece next. NO SPACES
A correct response in Certitude will provide you the means to solve for the final location. Good luck and enjoy the puzzle.
