Where: The Temple of Concord and Victory, Stowe Gardens, Bucks - Please note there's FREE ENTRY to Stowe on the day of this event! The location has toilets close by, and gives cover from the sun (or rain, but that won't happen).
When: Wednesday August 30th 2017, from 1-2pm. Bring a picnic?
What: A gathering for Geocachers to exchange travel items and tall caching tales. New to caching or cache events? You'll be made especially welcome.
Why: Stowe is always lovely. Extra lovely when it has FREE ENTRY!
Helpful info: See the additional waypoint for parking. You can get a free ride from there to the entrance and back, but then you've a walk through the grounds (see suggested route waypoints to get the most out of the site) to GZ. Dogs are fine, but keep them on the lead please. The event location was chosen with NT approval. Loos close by, and it's sheltered.
Fun Fact: The area does actually have an Indie link: The house was used for filming of the Nazi book-burning scene, where Dr Jones meets Hitler, in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
