This cache is close to ideal parking for the whole Graffham Down trail and is accessible by car. The rest of the trail is a strenuous walk up to the top of the South Downs and through nature reserves that border the South Downs Way.
This particular cache is relatively easy to find.
St Giles Church:
There has been a faithful act of worship here each Sunday since Domesday. The site nestles under the wooded slopes of the South Downs where the ever-changing colours of the trees remind us of the varied cycle of our seasons.
A typical Sussex church with its external flintwork and tall spire, St Giles takes its worthy place in the 42 mile long line of Sussex Down churches, which meanders eastward to the "Cathedral of the South Downs" in Alfriston on the South Downs Way.
