Lancing Manor Park is a large area of public open space towards the north of Lancing in West Sussex. The building from which Lancing Manor gets its name was demolished in 1972 but its origins date back to the early 1600's at which time it was just a small house. Subsequent extensions and alterations were made over the years which built it into the Manor House. The Manor and grounds were sold by the original Lloyd family in 1920 to Lancing College for boarding pupils. In 1935 it was sold to Worthing Council and the parkland we see today was handed over to the local council for the enjoyment of the local residents and visitors. Lancing Manor Park has a number of mature trees together with large areas of grassland ideal for family days out as well as a leisure centre and bowling green.
