Geocache Description:

Think of the Alvin, Simon, and Theodore caches as a version of our “Hey, Over Here” series, but for chipmunks. In other words, if you were a chipmunk you would love to find these hides.

As the middle kit of the Seville clan, Alvin was giddy to host this series' quick, one-step Multi-cache.

---------------Cache info ----------------

At the posted coordinates you will find three very large farm implements, two of which have tines.
Count the number of tines on each tool.

The number of tines on the taller tool will be A (a 2-digit number).
The number of tines on the shorter tool will be B (a 1-digit number).
(Example for generating 3-digit numbers using A and B:
If A = ?? and B = # then AB = ??# and BA = #??)

-----

To get the North's final coords: N 46 43.xxx
Make a 3-digit number, BA,
Divide BA by 16,
then subtract that answer from the last three digits of the North's posted coords
(314 - ??) = xxx

To get the West's final coords: W 116 59.yyy
Make a 3-digit number, AB,
then subtract AB from the last three digits of the West's posted coords
(469 - ???) = yyy

COOL BONUS STUFF NOT RELATED TO THIS CACHE'S FINAL COORDINATES

All of the Chipmunks wanted to share with you some interesting chipmunk facts gleaned from the internet. Alvin's contribution is related to the sounds that chipmunks make in the wild, as opposed to their 1958, #1 hit, The Christmas Song (Christmas Don't Be Late).

Below is a link to three types of chipmunk sounds (catalogued by a researcher in Canada):

Chipmunk Sounds

1. Chip-trill = Agonistic calls (associated with conflict) emitted to defend territory. Chipmunks are running when they make these calls.

2. Chucking = Emitted when facing a threat from an aerial predator. They make these alarm calls from a stationary position.

3. Chipping = Emitted when facing a risk of predation (preying of one animal on another) from a terrestrial predator or to defend their territory. Made from a stationary position.
