Geocache Description:

The Ramblers are a group of friends who come from Buckinghamshire and this year (2019) they have come for their annual holiday to Dartmoor. Yesterday’s walk had taken the Ramblers to the east of the moor, but today’s walk on 16th July was to take them in the opposite direction from their base in Okehampton.

Today’s walk was organised by David & Liz one of the 5 couples attending this year’s holiday and they had decided on a walk on the west side of the moor. After an early breakfast at 7:30am, they were soon heading south down the A386 towards Tavistock and onwards towards Yelverton. The walk started at Bedford Bridge in the woods along the River Walkham and then climbed to the south towards the more open, but bracken filled areas of the common. Having been introduced to geocaching the previous day, they discovered an abundance of caches and managed 15 finds on a 6.5 mile walk.

You will need to determine where else they visited and the following photos should be helpful. To find the cache you will need to turn to the right and walk 18 paces. There you will find a PO Box with the number PL1D EF. You will need DEF to locate the final cache of this series. A further 24 paces will take you to a very obvious feature where you will find the cache.
