There is a spacious car park outside the building.
This is MaPaSon81's local church. We've been here on multiple occasions since the 1980s. It is very much an active church, and not just for weddings, baptisms and funerals. Every month of the year there is plenty going on; coffee mornings, summer holiday activities, girl guide/boy scout type groups, craft clubs. The hub of the village.
The Church of St Mary, Barham is a Grade I listed building.
As with every local church I've studied its origins date back to medieval times. Down throughout the centuries it has constantly been added to, most recently in 1980 when a church room was added north of the nave, which you can clearly see from the car park.
Unfortunately the church is locked when not in use, but should you get the chance to visit it when it's open I would reccommend you do so as the interior is beautiful and fascinating in equal measure.
