Christ Church Orpington

Another in the ever expanding Church Micro Series, started by Sadexploration.
The 1930s were a boom time for development in the Orpington area including this part of Orpington known then unofficially as Goddington and now called “south Orpington” by Estate Agents. The modern housing estate to the west of the church was once the site of Charterhouse school built in 1936. Two years later in 1938 Christ Church started in a hall whilst the church building proper was being built and this was consecrated in 1940. The church hall was replaced with the current building a few years ago.
The cache is a small plastic container, please push back so it is at least partially hidden.
