Last year my daughter introduced me to a game called "Four is Magic". The game is based on a riddle of the same name. The game begins with someone passing a ball to another player while calling out a number. The other player repeats that number and calls out another number, according to the rules of the game, while passing the ball to another player. This continues until someone holds the ball too long, someone makes a mistake, or the last number is called out. A new round begins when the last player to receive the last number acknowledges that by calling out, "four is magic", and then calls out a new beginning number. What follows are the beginning numbers for several rounds of a game.
