Geocache Description:

In March 2012 Gigi_e_Luca hid a cache GC3EX63 in Piancorboli.

In March 2018 the cache was found by Dinolampa but the work for which the cache was hidden, shoot !!

It was moved a few kilometers away and is now located inside a winery, the MonteRosola estate, one of the best contemporary wineries in Tuscany.

The cache is located on the street, at the information sign of the work, the ellipse is inside the estate but if you find the gate open, go inside to take pictures. If, on the other hand, you are attracted by a tasting of excellent wines, go to the cellar.

The structure is called First Steps 2009, and was built in 2009 by Mauro Staccioli within the exhibition Sites of experience. Staccioli has made a series of installations, set in the landscape, forming a sort of ring around Volterra. These works want to point out places and times related to the real identity of the community, and to the artist's personal experiences of childhood. The sculpture is made of Corten steel (material that oxidizes with the air is covered with a brown patina), and measure 805x1300x40 cm. You can reach the place by car without problems.
