Most people seem to agree that 2020 was probably one of the worst years of our lifetimes. And, now, it's finally over! But, we are all still stuck in our homes here; so this year's first puzzle will give you something to do for a while, I think. Each of the fifteen descriptions below refers to a person who currently has a (U.S.) Wikipedia entry. I admit that I don't recognize any of these people and the descriptions are vague enough to refer to multiple people in most cases; so you'll have to figure out which person, and to top it off, you'll also have to figure out how to order them correctly.
- Actor who appeared in a 1999 movie with his Academy Award-winning mother
- Captain of the Golden Gophers
- Conservative Prime Minister of the United Kingdom
- English classical scholar, who studied Catullus
- English columnist and restaurant critic
- Head of conservation in Zululand
- Indigenous Canadian author
- Master of Falkland
- Newbery Medal winner
- Ruler of Grenada
- Signed $30 million contract with the Raiders
- Speedway racer with the Belle Vue Aces
- U.S. Minister to the United Kingdom
- Vince Gill made a guest appearance on her first album
- 17th Century Welsh landowner and politician

Special Notes about the 2021 Puzzle Challenge: To be considered for Fastest Solver points, you must verify your solution with Certitude. Finders will receive Top Finder points when submitting Found It logs to the cache page. All "point" scoring is arbitrary, subject to change, at the discretion of the cache owner, and probably completely meaningless (unless you just want to be announced sooner at the celebration party, if one even happens in 2022, as we didn't have one in 2020 and it looks dubious as to whether we'll have one in 2021). The real challenge is to see whether I can even figure out how to create a new puzzle each month this year! To maintain fairness, hints should not be offered by the cache owner or other solvers until the fifteenth of the month.
Special Notes about this month's puzzle: I changed the name of the cache after I figured out how I wanted to create the puzzle; so the name on the logsheet doesn't match. I originally gave this cache a 5-star difficulty, but it was solved quickly enough that it probably really merits D4. I'm going to rerate it as D4.5 for now.
