Another in the 'Little Bridges' series - placed having found the location when out looking for Red Arrows !
24th June 2022 - I wanted to watch the Red Arrows as they came into Headcorn just before they began their display at the Battle of Britain show. I had noted that they were flying over this open area and found a good spot to watch them.
I had seen the possibility of a few places to hide some caches and this was one of them. There is another in the LB series not too far from here
From parking go a short way south to reach the FP entrance.
A home crafted themed container - so please handle carefully
A simple multi - the original co-ords take you to the bridge
How many horizontal bars make the hand-rail = A
How many wooden sleepers form the bridge = B
How many horizontal bars on the gate = C
Cache can be found (not far away) at
N51 07. (A+C) (A+B+C) (A+B) E000 37. (A+C) (B-B) (A+A)
In order to log a 'found' online you must sign the physical logsheet - unless good reason for not being able to do so (sodden / full logsheet etc - if this is the case, ensure a NM log is also added, followed up with a photo sent to the CO in messages) - however, not having a pen !! just log a 'write note'.
If you cannot find the cache, do not assume it missing and do not put a throwdown as a replacement. ALL maintenance is the responsibility of the CO – if any is required, please add a ‘Needs Maintenance’ log to highlight the issue.

The Little Bridges series was started by Stanthews in 2009 to highlight small footbridges in remote parts of Wiltshire. Since then, the series has been expanded by others all over the country and starting to spread fast. There is a stats listing, so you can see how many Little Bridges you have found, you can find it here: - Little Bridges Geocaching Series (littlebridgesseries.co.uk). If you would like to add to the series, please go to this site, on the tab Get Involved click number request and fill in the form. To qualify, the bridge must be a foot bridge too small for vehicles, please make sure your title exactly matches “Little Bridges # xxxx then the name” including spaces so it will get picked up and added to stats list.
