Weathered stones speak from times of old
Telling stories, rich and bold
Many to this day leave their mark
Knowing not of an adventure one can embark

Treasures great this tower once held
Now can be sought with senses compelled
View the spire from sky to ground
Each level has a window easily found

Count each portal whether open or covered
A number most sacred is now discovered
Apply the window shape, then add six
A direction to walk one can now transfix

But one task remains in your quest
How far to go to retrieve the chest
Add the sacred number to the direction
For yards to travel in your projection
