                  Public Utility and Community Traditions

🧱 Mr. Assis' Fountain: Located along Rua do Pomar, situated right in front of Mr. Assis' house, this public concrete fountain stands as a monument to local popular engineering. It secured fresh drinking water for rural families long before modern indoor plumbing reached the local homes.

💧 Social Gathering Hub: A public water fountain is a structure equipped with spouts flowing with fresh water. Usually placed in open spaces or strategic roadsides, they served to quench the thirst of travelers, cool down the local air, and act as a vibrant social hub where neighbors met daily. Please respect this heritage and do not damage anything!
