Here are the basics to get the geocache powered up: Spin the crank on the right (not too violently please) for a minute or two to get the needle above 6 volts. From there the geocache should guide you the rest of the way but keep in mind it takes a minute once the lights (in the eyes) turn on for the speaker to activate. It is also advised to bring along a friend to keep an eye on the voltmeter while you work out the puzzle. Good Luck!
Troubleshooting:
Entering the puzzle solution: Ensure you use the permanently attached wire to enter the letters. Every beep indicates a letter received, spelling too fast may cause the geocache to miss letters. Just make sure that you get a single beep for every letter entered. The password resets every time you get the "incorrect, try again" phrase so if your password is too short, it won't verify your answer or reset your input until you have entered enough letters. Also, check your spelling because even I have gotten it wrong trying to enter the correct password.
Accessing the container: If you solve the puzzle and enter it correctly, a hatch on the bottom of the cache should automatically open, dropping the geocache to the ground but if you're fast, you may be able to catch it! If the hatch doesn't open, please let me know so I can fix it. When you are ready to close the hatch, place only the container in the holder specifically designed for it and push the hatch up until it latches.
If you have any other issues with the cache such as despite powering it up to 6 volts, nothing happens; something appears broken; the speaker doesn't work; or the voltmeter doesn't respond when spinning the hand crank please let me know so I can fix it ASAP.
Congrats LenaArlo and Dictaham & clan for the FTF!
