The Church
St Luke's Catholic Church. A late 1960s church by George Mathers, square on plan and with a central spirelet. The church was built as a satellite of Douai Abbey and opened in 1969. The architect was George Mathers ARIBA, the builders W.E. Chivers & Sons Ltd and the cost £22,000. A parish hall was added in the 1990s.
St Luke's is one of three churches within the Woolhampton Roman Catholic parish, served by the Benedictine monks of Douai Abbey. The other two are St Bernadette's in Pangbourne and St Mary's in Woolhampton.
The Cache:
First look at the low brick wall which separates the footpath from the church grounds. Right hand side attached to the wall is a house number. Make this AB.
On the corner of the church grounds and the small road (The Courtyard) is a lamppost. On it is a single digit number. Make this C.
On the blue church sign to the right of the main doors there are two years on the bottom line. 19DE and 20FF.
The cache can be found a few hundred metres away at:

Checksum of all 15 digits: 33.
The cache is not roadside, it is on the perimeter of a field so no need to walk along the road to the cache site.
Whilst neither the church or the cache are in sight of the local primary school, the road which the church is located on is busy at both school drop off and pick up times. These times are best avoided. There is plenty of parking around the area outside of these times
