Caratterizzate da tempi di percorrenza piuttosto elevati e da tracciati tortuosi situati in zone suggestive dal punto di vista paesaggistico, le ferrovie a scartamento ridotto sarde hanno sempre attirato l'attenzione dei viaggiatori per gli scenari che si presentavano durante i viaggi lungo queste linee. Già nel 1921 lo scrittore britannico David Herbert Lawrence, nel suo libro Mare e Sardegna, raccontò le sue esperienze di viaggio lungo la Cagliari-Isili-Sorgono.

Per arrivare al final dovrai fare un breve viaggio partendo dalle coordinate del listing. Qui trovi il monumento a Gigi Riva, uno dei migliori calciatori italiani di tutti i tempi, nonché tra i più forti attaccanti nella storia del calcio, che ha legato la sua carriera agonistica al Cagliari – squadra di cui è divenuto «icona» dentro e fuori dal campo, vestendone la maglia dal 1963 al 1977 e detenendone tuttora il record di marcature con 208 reti.
