Geocaching NSW would like to invite all geocachers to our annual expedition to explore the great state of New South Wales. This year we will be travelling to Tamworth, in the heart of the New England region of NSW on the weekend of the 21st, 22nd and 23rd of February.

Tamworth is about a 4 hour and 40 minute drive from Sydney and about a 7 hour and 20 minute drive from Canberra, so plan a long weekend and find some caches on the way. Tamworth has plenty of country swagger and plenty of great caches to find, so why not team up with a few friends and make it a really memorable weekend.

On the Sunday morning the 23rd of February at 8:00am we will be having a CITO at the Lions Park/Truckies Memorial rest stop area, on Goonoo Goonoo Road. We are partnering with Clean Up Australia Day who are supplying the bags and gloves for attendees to use, and the Tamworth Regional Council who are allowing one of our committee members to take the rubbish to their waste treatment facility for free. There are amenities nearby for people to use. Please bring along a hat, sturdy shoes, water, sunscreen and your enthusiasm to clean up the area.
